      The Mishing (or Mishing/Miri) tribe of Assam, India, has a rich cultural heritage, including distinctive traditional attire. Their clothing is vibrant and woven with intricate designs, reflecting their identity and traditions. Traditional Dress of Mishing Tribe: For  Women ( Mimbir koneng , Neng Tani ) : 1. Gero – A red and black-striped wraparound skirt, usually paired with a blouse. Gero is believe to be wore in occasions like " Ui "(spiritual ceremony )and Gumrag Soman (Gumrag Dance) by the women . 2. Ribi Gaseng – A long, decorative woven cloth draped over the shoulder, showcasing intricate patterns and vibrant colors. 3. Ege – A handwoven skirt similar to a mekhela, wrapped around the lower body. 4. Seleng Gasor – A full-body wrap used on special occasions, particularly during cultural festivals. 5.
